Hello

Originally from Turkey, I am a Berlin-based writer, poet, editor, and instructor. I hold an MA in English Literature from Potsdam University.

My writing has appeared in the European Review of Books, Versopolis, Stadtsprachen, and First Page, among others. My poems have been translated into German, Czech, and French.
In 2023, I won the Best Fiction Prize from the Oxford Review of Books, and I am a recipient of the 2025 Berlin Senate Literature Stipend. I have performed at literary festivals including Runokuu in Helsinki, Haus für Poesie in Berlin, and The Word in Denver. I currently teach at the Berlin Writers’ Workshop.
I am currently working on my novel and a short story collection.
